Spread a little kindness”
Thousands of stencils were cut and applied to station platforms from London Euston to Glasgow Central. Virgin Trains, with their charity partner, Rethink mental illness developed this idea - getting their idea into actuality is where we come in!

Material: Polyester film, 125 micron ( 0.125mm).

Application: Painted to match the safety line using commercial aerosol sprayers onto varying platform surfaces.

Project details

Location: 15 train platforms between London and Glasgow

Artwork: The entire script of the film was received in Word. We recreated, using the selected fonts, into a drawing/ cutting file. ‘Bridges’ were added to hold in ‘floating’ letter centres. Each platform had a section of the film script, ending with the words to Auld Lang Syne in Glasgow Central.

Manufacturing: 15 rolls of 80 stencils were butted together to be rolled out and spray-painted easily.
