How to apply a Henna Stencil

  1. A skin test should always be done prior to application
  2. Prepare area to be painted by washing with light soapy solution and wipe with isopropyl alcohol
  3. Make sure you clean an area larger than the stencil itself
  4. Protect any clothing before applying paint
  5. Clear adhesive backed stencils work best
  6. Use skin safe henna and a small soft sponge to apply
  7. Do not over apply (henna can run under the stencil)
  8. Build up depth of colour to create desired finish
  9. Remove stencil and remove any excess henna with isopropyl
  10.  A setting powder can be applied to the tattoo. Remove excess with a soft brush
