If you're looking to create a design with more than one colour, a multi-layer stencil is the best way to achieve a clean, professional result. Whether you're painting a mural, applying a company logo or creating large-scale artwork, laser cut multi-layer stencils make it easy to build up complex designs one colour at a time.
A multi-layer stencil is made up of a number of individual stencil sheets, with each stencil representing one colour in the finished design. The stencils are applied one after another, allowing you to recreate detailed artwork that would be more difficult with a single stencil.
Some designs only require two or three stencil layers, while more intricate artwork can involve 10 or more individual stencil layers (colours). By separating the artwork into colour layers, almost any multi-colour design can be reproduced accurately.

Every multi-layer stencil is supplied with registration marks, making it easy to align each layer before applying the next colour.
For larger projects, each colour layer can also be split into manageable sections. These include overlap and registration marks so large murals, floor graphics and wall artwork can be assembled accurately on site.
As you can see in the below example of a 2-layer stencil overlapping with registration marks.
