Laser Cutting Services provides a service to suit your cutting requirements. We design and laser cut an extensive range of materials, including fabrics, plastics, paper card and offers our services to private individuals, retailers, wholesalers and corporate customers.

Laser Cutting Materials

Some of the laser cutting materials we can cut include:

Acrylic, polyester sheeting for stencils, mylar, acetate and several other plastics.
Paper, card and wood including Veneer for marquetry.
Fabrics from sailcloth and silk (sealing the edges as it cuts and stops fraying) to denim, leather and suede.
Sign making materials including self-adhesive vinyl's and films, reflective and retro-reflective materials.

Laser cutting has several advantages over traditional cutting methods of manufacture with few drawbacks; some of the main benefits are the accuracy of 0.2mm and the flexibility to make the smallest changes with the flick of a button, which traditional bladed cutting systems and dye cutting cannot accommodate. The industry standard material for stencil cutting is polyester film. It is available in different thicknesses that are suitable for a variety of uses.

75 Micron Polyester Film
Durable, lightweight and very flexible material.
Re-usable polyester film can achieve high detail for fine graphic stencils amongst other applications.
Easy to clean; it is the ideal choice for small detailed work.

125 Micron Polyester Film
Durable, flexible re-usable polyester film that can achieve high detail.
Easy to clean; it is the ideal choice for decorative wall stencils, body art and text.
Suitable for most uses.


190 Micron Polyester Film
Shares the same properties as the 125 micron but is 60% thicker for longer life.
Suggested for medium to heavy stencilling jobs where longer life and larger letters or graphics are required.
Can also be used for cake and card stencilling.
350 Micron Polyester Film
Thick film, much more hardwearing and rigid, but still retains some flexibility.
Ideal for larger industrial use, this film will last.
You can use solvents such as white spirit to clean or scrape the paint off.
Can be used for card making as well, but the detail must not be too small.
Not generally suitable for small, intricate detail.

500 Micron Polyester Film
Thick film, much more hardwearing and rigid, but still retains some flexibility.
Excellent alternative to traditional steel stencils, widely used in more industrial applications.

Applications for Laser Cutting

Laser Cutting Card of all thicknesses can be used in many different applications. We can produce custom made laser cut greeting cards or invitations to promote a special event. The laser cutting process can cut the most intricate of design from a wide range of cards and paper.
Print and cut. Accurate registration equipment allows us to combine laser cutting and printing for more individual requirements and is suitable for high volume commissions.
Plywood & Laminates are used widely for model making, toys, jewellery and many other applications.
Textiles and Rubber products cut well achieving a neatly sealed edge and are used for many applications in the fashion industry, stationery products industrial and marine uses.
Acrylic and Vinyl. Acrylic is one of the most versatile materials and is widely used in the sign industry. There are many types of acrylic on the market that perform exceptionally well that will give you the most professional finish you are looking for. Vinyl is used extensively in the sign making industry and is complimentary to acrylic in the sign industry.
