Graffiti Stencils (also referred to as pavement
stenciling or street advertising stencils) are
used widely to promote a variety of outdoor events,
such as rock concerts, the launch
of a new album, sporting events
and exhibitions and are rapidly becoming
a popular form of advertising. Nationwide campaigns can be marketed quickly
and easily which is a cost effective form of street or pavement
advertising. QR (quick response) codes are becoming an increasingly
popular form of street advertising using chalk spray stencils.
The graffiti stencils are often used to create a ‘Clean
Graffiti’ effect. This is done by blasting a high pressure
jet wash through the stencil onto a dirty pavement, exposing
a cleaned image. The image will last for some time and then will gradually
fade.
The graffiti promotional stencils can also be used with
spray chalk, spray snow and glitter
effects which are all temporary paints that will wash away. These
stencils are usually made from a 350
micron polyester film which is ideal for this type of stencilling.

The use of heavy duty polyester stencil is one of the most popular ways to promote an advertising campaign.
Chorley Council approached us as part of National Pool Scoop Week to make some customised laser cut stencils for a dog fouling clean up campaign. These custom stencils were used on pavements and grassy areas throughout the town and in the surrounding district. Temporary chalk spray was used through the stencil which makes it a quick and easy form of stencil street advertising.
Customised laser cut stencils like this can be made to your specifications; A4, A3, A2 and A1 sizes are all produced in a durable polyester film that it easy to clean.
An exhibition goes on tour this January to mark the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns's birth. This event is part of Homecoming Scotland 2009 – a year-long programme celebrating Scottish culture and heritage. The exhibition brings together a collection of manuscripts, books, art and artefacts helping bring us closer to understanding and appreciating Scotland’s national poet. Laser Cutting Services were contacted by a marketing company to produce a large selection of life size stencils to be used for street advertising on pavements and hoarding across various cities in Scotland. This has proved to be a very effective form of advertising, that has great impact and is fast and cost effective form of advertising.
