Large Wall Stencils
for detailed plasterwork
Laser Cutting Services were approached by an interior design specialist to produce a large wall stencil / paper cut that would be suitable to cover a large area.
The intricate Arabic stencil design required to be a thickness that would help create depth when used with a Venetian polished plaster.
This particular stencil design was made in one large piece made to our maximum cutting area of 970 x 730mm.

Laser Cut Neoprene Labels
for 2012 Sporting Event
Laser Cutting Services were approached by an artist who had been commissioned to construct a display that would celebrate the opening of a new road to the village of Littlemoor, Sussex.
The celebration was part of a series of developments throughout the UK, for a major sporting event in 2012.
The display was created using over 10,000
colourful neoprene labels
that were laser cut with the words ‘I
Wish…’. The labels were distributed
to locals who were invited to write their wish. The laser
cut neoprene labels
were then attached along the fencing of the new road where others could
read the many wishes.

Advertise Your SPORTING EVENT using LARGE Stencils for a Stunning Aerial View
Laser Cutting Services were approached by Scottish
Borders Council and 7 Stanes Mountain Bike Trails, (hosting a stage
of the Tour of Britain) to produce some extra
large stencils that could be painted onto the road surface.
The Scottish stage of the tour was to travel from Peebles down to Gretna
and as part of their advertising campaign
to promote tourism in the area, the images were required
to be big enough to have real
visual impact as they were to be seen from an aerial
view as the event was to be televised.
Some of these very large stencils
were laser cut to a size of over 24 metres long!. These
were painted using a semi permanent paint.

Exhibition Display Stencils
Laser Cutting Services were approached by DED Associates, an international design agency to produce some large stencil designs that would form part of an ultra-contemporary exhibition.
A selection of laser cut stencils were produced to almost life size proportion. This collection of large stencils are made in heavy duty polyester film that is flexible, durable and easy to clean.
Laser Cutting Fabrics and Textiles for Fashion Students and the Fashion Industry
Lucy Beard recently graduated from Salford University, gaining a first class honours in Ba Hons Fashion. Lucy had to produce a capsule collection for her final year collection, comprising 8 outfits all laser cut. The collection was based upon different layering techniques of geometrical shapes. In order to achieve a precise finish the fabric had to be lasercut as the collection was made from delicate fabrics such as silks, chiffons and sequins. Laser cutting was also the best method of cutting, as a large quantity of fabric was required.
NICK FALDO STENCIL
Championship Golf Course
Lough Erne Golf Resort
The 1st of July 2009 saw the grand opening of the luxurious Nick Faldo Championship Golf Course at Lough Erne Golf Resort, Northern Ireland.
As part of the preparation for the launch, Laser Cutting Services were asked to create a bespoke stencil that could be used to decorate the sandstone tee boxes throughout the course.
This custom stencil designed using re-usable polyester was just the 'tee-cket' to show off Nick Faldo's logo!

Bigfish Littlefish cards approached us with an extensive range of greeting cards they wanted assistance with manufacturing. They are pre-printed and require laser cut card shapes that are glued to the front of the card to create a 3D effect. The laser cut glitter card pieces transform the cards keeping them contemporary, colourful and fun.
Laser cutting is also often used for invitations to promote events, where a company logo can be adapted and applied to create impressive results.
CUSTOM Company LOGO STENCILS and CARD CUTTING
Company logo stencils and trade mark stencils for stencil marking on packaging, flight case stencils, boxes, bags, CD cases. This is a fast and effective form of product identification that is easy to use with any stencils. The logo stencils can be scaled up or down to any size and can be used on flat or curved surfaces. Use the stencil logos with any water or oil based paints.

LASER CUT LEATHER for Fashion Designer -
Iona Crawford
Contemporary fashion designer,
Iona Crawford designs high-end womenswear. By combining rich luxurious
Scottish fabrics with unusual, unexpected
materials such as laser cut leather,
she modernises the way in which Scottish fabrics
are traditionally recognised. It is this unique and innovative approach
which gives her label its niche.
Laser Cutting Services worked with
Iona to develop various laser-cut leather
pieces that were individually designed for her unique range of clothing.
Commissioned by a make up artist from Footballer's Wives TV series to produce
a tattoo stencil that would form a two layer complex tattoo
design. This was made for Conrad, who played the lead role for some time.
To avoid hand painting this each shoot, the tatoo body stencil
made light work of a time consuming job. Sadly, he was killed off!
MODERNIST Spring/Summer Collection 2009
As seen on the catwalk at the London and Paris Fashion Week Autumn
2008. Abdul Koroma and Andrew Jones
of ‘Modernist’ fashion designer label,
London, approached us to produce laser cut swing tags
and fabric pieces for their Spring/ Summer 2009 ‘trousseau’
Collection, currently stocked by Harvey Nichols, Knightsbridge. The
Modernist collection mainly manufactured in France also work with Louis
Vuitton, Balenciaga, Nina Ricci and Givenchy. This season, the label
will collaborate with esteemed milliners 'Bernstock Spiers'.
Laser Cutting Services were approached by an interior design
company to produce some very large complex wall stencils
that were to be used on vast walls and ceilings. Some designs were compiled
with three or four different sections that would all be registered together
to form an overall pattern. For the same company, we also produced some very ornate multi layer designs used to decorate furniture.
Laser Cutting Services recently produced a short run of
card stencils that were used to decorate a limited range
of ceramic ware. Our client required the stencils
to be made in a heavy weight paper/card in order for them
to be dampened and moulded to the ceramic surface before
colour glaze was applied.
Back in 1993, this special custom made stencil commission
was in fact our first ever commission, used in a promotional campaign.
This series of photos shows just a small selection of body stencils
(tattoos) we produce for the fashion industry. Custom
made stencils can be made in a wide choice of materials depending
on their use. Whether they are for your skin, nails or hair, we can make
them in the most appropriate laser cut material for the job.
Commissioned by a paper engineer to laser cut the components for a very
unique card pop-up wedding invitation.
Laser Cutting Services were approached by an advertising
company to produce a selection of stencils that were to
be individually packaged and attached to the clothing range.
Over the past 12 years, Laser Cutting Services has produced
a wide range of the most delicate wedding stationery. The
nature of manufacturing allows us to create something very unique.
We work closely with Henny Donovan in order to produce
an entensive range of stencil designs. Motif has been established
to showcase and sell the range of exciting up to date stencils
(including large wall stencils) from the designer and author
Henny Donovan. The reputation and popularity of Henny's
most contemporary stencil designs continues to grow rapidly.
With the precision of laser cutting we can laser
cut onto printed artwork, registering with text and designs. This
invitation was produced on gloss finish card for the launch of the new clothing
collection.
This is one of the projects featured in Sarah Gleave's
books 'Creative Stencilling' published by Merehurst. A
stencil was created to decorate the cake with powdered food colours. Sarah re-introduced stencils into the bakery trade using vibrant colours and contemporary designs that became a trend of its own.
We were approached by an artist to laser cut over 2,000
paper butterflies. These were to attached to a human figure and displayed
as a piece of art in a New York gallery for just one day.
In 1997, Laser Cutting Services were approached by a small
family run lampshade company to sample some new laser cut lampshades. We
worked closely over many years to produce an exquisite and extensive range
of stencilled shades that were sold in many large retail
outlets, including Laura Ashley, John Lewis
and Jasper Conran. 
This one of a range of laser cut stencils we produce that
is used for promotion throughout Mark Warner Ski resorts.
These stencils were produced to coincide with the launch of Sigur Ross's
latest album. They were delighted with the service we provided and we have
since done other work for them. Clean graffiti and pavement stencils are fast becoming a very popular way to promote an event.
