About Us, Laser Cutting Services Ltd
Sarah Gleave...
owner of Laser Cutting Services based in Stirling, Scotland started her business in 1987, designing and making exclusive celebration cakes. Utilising her skills and design background, she pioneered a new technique in stencilling and 3-D work.Sarah's stencilling talents were recognised by Charles Letts Publishing Company, who commissioned her to write her first book. Copyright restrictions prompted Sarah to write and self-publish a second book. This allowed her to develop the pre-cut stencil side of her business, selling stencils in conjunction with her book.
In order to promote her products, Sarah ran stencil training workshops, attended exhibitions and demonstrated her craft throughout the UK, and later world wide. In 1995 Sarah won a 'Women Into Business' Award which was presented by The Rt. Hon. Kenneth Clarke QC MP, at No.11 Downing Street.

| Sarah Gleave has a keen
interest in Cycling and long distance Triathlon and competes
in events all over the UK and Europe. The picture here shows
Sarah on her way to win 1st Female at the UK's toughest cycling
race 'The Bealach Beag' in May 2007. Part of the route takes
the race over the famous Applecross climb 2053ft (626m) from
sea level in just 6 miles (10k) with a further 7,600ft (2,300m)
of ascent added to make this event even tougher. |
